As you guys know, I have been working on Coursera for quite a bit of time recently and I have made a lot of progress! I wanted to share my progress and some key insights I made during learning.

I have finished Andrew Ng’s “AI for Everyone” and I have finished Course 1 from IBM’s Data Science Specialization.

Some key insights I have made over the course of my learning include the AI Transformation Playbook, What Deep Learning Is, the Key Steps of a Data Science Project, and the “differences” between Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, and Deep Learning (spoiler alert: they’re all subsets of one another than can be represented like the graph below).

From gaining a deeper understanding of what exactly data science is, I have also started understanding more what I want to do when I grow up and where that stands with the multitude of careers that exist with a data science background. I came across the diagram below from Medium and I found it very intriguing, the number of career possibilities and where I can go! I enjoy mathematics and business deeply and communication is a key skill I utilize in my leadership with DECA so my ideal career choice would be as a Machine Learning Entrepreneur!
